Are we more productive

Software That Designs Its Self: Graphic: A 3d printer making a fork or someone attaching handlebars while they’re riding a bike. As data collection services for usability proliferate the design testing process, one can’t help but to wonder how this may affect the design itself. If we can analyze how people use an existing design, could we enable computers to create software and user interfaces on the fly - learning how people want to use the software as opposed to how the use an existing design. The software would evolve as usage patterns change and adapt to the very different needs of first time users and seasoned verterens… how does this affect the professional design?
